We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and adaptable Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate is an engaging facilitator who can connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and coach them toward meaningful career opportunities post-training. This role requires strong communication skills, classroom management experience, and the ability to tailor content to meet the unique needs of each group.

The Primary Responsibilities of the Trainer Include:
Career Readiness Training (CRT)
- Teach structured weekly classes using existing career readiness curriculum
- Deliver instruction on core job readiness topics such as completing job applications, writing professional resumes, and preparing for interviews
- Utilize a wide range of teaching methods and tools, including PowerPoint, experiential activities, and e-learning platforms
- Proofread and edit participant materials such as resumes and job applications
- Monitor student progress, provide individual support as needed, and share feedback with staff
- Assemble participant binders and resources for weekly training classes
Career-Related Workshops
- Develop and present targeted workshops on personal and professional development topics such as performance evaluations and career advancement strategies
- Create and update workshop content to support ongoing learning and to meet the specific needs of different participant groups and learning styles
Curriculum Development & Data Tracking
- Maintain and refine career readiness training and workshop materials to ensure alignment with evolving industry standards, workforce trends, and both participant and program goals.
- Track and document daily and weekly attendance and participation in Career Readiness Training (CRT) sessions
- Compile and submit accurate weekly reports summarizing class participation, progress, and notable outcomes to program leadership
- Use data insights to inform instructional adjustments, improve content delivery, and support continuous program improvement
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of previous training, facilitating, or relatable experience
- Minimum of 2 years successfully working in an office environment
- Schedule flexibility; occasional evening work is required for evening CRT every 6 weeks or as needed
- Must possess strong computer skills, with demonstrated proficiency in word processing and document creation using software such as Microsoft Word and Google Docs
- Comfortable conducting presentations in front of small groups or in one-on-one settings
- Demonstrated experience working in a structured and consistent work week with excellent attendance and punctuality
- A sense of humor as well as finding joy in helping others be successful
Qualifications:
- Prefer experience working or volunteering with underserved populations
- Marketing or design experience to create presentations
- Proficient computer skills and experienced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Gmail, and Google Drive, with the ability to adapt to new equipment and technology
- Maintain organizational systems and communicate frequently with management
- Desire to work as part of a team dedicated to achieving excellent results while maintaining a positive atmosphere
- BA or BS degree a plus
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000 annually, based on experience
